Nine Wabash College student-athletes earned Division III All-Region honors from the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Monday.
 
Jon Deem-Loureiro, Jose Franco, Thomas Gastineau, RaShawn Jones, Juan Montenegro, Ethan Pine, Tyler Ramsey, Josh Wiggins, and Andrew Young were all named to the Great Lakes All-Region Team after finishing the 2019-2020 indoor track and field season ranked as one of the top-five individuals in their event or as a member of a top-three relay team.
 
Jones turned in the region's third-fastest time in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.08, the sixth-quickest time among Division III competitors this season. He will compete at the 2020 NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field Championships this Friday and Saturday in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Jones, a two-time All-American in the 110-meter hurdles in outdoor competition, qualified for the national championship meet last year but an injury prevented him from competing at the 2019 meet.
 
Wiggins tied for the fifth-fastest time in the 60-meter hurdles this season at 8.22. He learned Wednesday morning he will join Jones at the national championship meet as one of the 20 competitors entered in the 60-meter hurdles event.
 
Deem-Louriero, Gastineau, Pine, and Ramsey were all members of the Little Giants' distance medley relay team that ranked second in the region with a season-best time of 10:21.05. Franco, Montenegro, Ramsey, and Young produced the region's third-fastest time of 3:24.89 in the 4x400-meter relay to garner all-region honors.
 
A total of 1,595 athletes from 200 different institutions earned all-region honors nationwide from the eight regions with 805 honors going to the men and an additional 790 to the women.
