The Wabash College football team travels to Granville, Ohio, Saturday as it continues its North Coast Athletic Conference schedule. The Little Giants (3-0, 2-0 NCAC) face Denison University (3-1, 3-0 NCAC) in a battle of undefeated conference teams.

Wabash and Denison, along with Wittenberg, tied for the conference title in 2018 and 2019. Denison won the tiebreaker and advanced to the NCAA tournament in 2018. Wabash claimed the tiebreaker and the automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA DIII playoffs.

A Little Giants' win Saturday would provide more than a one-game lead over both Denison and Wittenberg. The Tigers lost to Denison 21-6 last week in Granville. Wabash can join the University of Notre Dame as the only college's in Indiana with 700 or more victories in football program history. The Fighting Irish picked up their 922 program win last week over Wisconsin. Wabash has won 699 games over 134 seasons. Purdue is third on the all-time victories list with 623 wins.

Wabash enters Saturday's game as one of the top offensive teams in Division III. The Little Giants average 502.7 yards on offense per game, 12
th-best in the nation. A 37 points-per-game average has Wabash ranked 39
th overall among DIII programs.

Donovan Snyder leads the Little Giants' run game. The sophomore averages 128.67 yards per game to lead the NCAC. Quarterback
Liam Thompson leads the conference and is 11
th in the nation in passing yards per completion. Wabash average 16.44 yards per catch through three games. Thompson also ranks seventh in the nation in points responsible for with an average of 24 points per game. He has thrown for 10 TDs along with two rushing touchdowns this season. Thompson is currently 14
th on the Wabash all-time passing touchdowns list with 25 in 14 games played.

The Wabash defense has limited opponents to 65 rushing yards through the first three games of the season.
Seth Buresh leads the defense with 18 tackles. His 4-1/2 tackles for losses totaling 13 yards and four sacks for 12 yards are also the most among Wabash players.

Wabash will face a Denison defense that has held opposing teams to 182.8 passing yards and 90.5 rushing yards in four games this season. The Big Red trailed Wittenberg 16-0 after one quarter before holding the Tigers scoreless over the final 45 minutes of the game to claim the 21-16 victory. Senior quarterback Drew Dawkins threw for 101 yards and two TDs in the victory. Trey Fabrocini ran for 116 yards to lead the Big Red. Denison's defense, led by sophomore linebacker Jeff Moore, has held opponents to 15.5 points per game, 47
th among DIII schools and the second-best total in the conference. Moore ranks fourth among NCAC players in tackles with an average of five per game.
