The Wabash College track and field team has been honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as an All-Academic Team. In addition, five Little Giants have been recognized as All-Academic Athletes by the organization.

Thomas Joven,
Tyler Ramsey,
Howie Steele, and
Josh Wiggins received All-Academic Athlete honors by maintaining a 3.30 or higher cumulative grade point average while also finishing among the top-50 competitors in Division III in an individual indoor event or among the top-35 relays teams. Individuals who competed at the 2021 NCAA DIII Track and Field Championships with a 3.30 or higher cumulative GPA were also eligible.

Bender, a rising senior and economics major, ranked 33rd in the pole vault on the indoor qualifying list. The threesome of Joven, a rising sophomore who plans to major in rhetoric, Ramsey, a recent graduate and rhetoric and computer science double major, and Steele, a rising sophomore plans to major in history major, ran as part of the Wabash 4x400-meter relay team that ranked among the top-35 DIII institutions this season.

Wiggins, who also graduated in May as a history major, competed at the 2021 NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships in the 110-meter hurdles where he finished 12th overall.

The Wabash team combined for a 3.22 cumulative GPA to receive the All-Academic Team designation. Teams with a minimum 3.1 cumulative GPA were honored by the USTFCCCA.
