Wabash Scores Big Win Versus Bethel

Wabash won 12 of the 16 events in its dual-meet matchup against Bethel University on Saturday. The Little Giants cruised to a 191-96 victory.
 
The Little Giants opened the meet with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay. Justin Dusza, Isaac Temores, Connor Craig, and Caleb McCarty won the even with a combined time of 1:39.12. The foursome of Keane Albright, Justice Wenz, Ethan Comeyne, and Daren Glore finished in third place with a time of 1:43.95.
 
Glore scored an individual victory in the 200 freestyle to help Wabash go 1-2-3 in the event. His win came with a time of 1:46.00. McCarty finished in second place overall at 1:49.45. Dusza finished in 1:49.72 to take third place. Glore also won the 200-yard breaststroke with a winning time of 2:16.57. Wenz placed third overall with a time of 2:20.57.
 
Marc Nicholson won the 100-yard backstroke by touching the wall for the final time in 57.39. Albright scored a third-place finish with a time of 59.51.
 
Ethan Johns won the 50-yard freestyle with a top time of 22.88. Isaac Temores finished in 22.97 to place second overall. Johns also won the 500-yard freestyle by finishing the race in 5:01.85.
 
McCarty won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 48.16. Nicolas Hakimian captured third place with a time of 51.86. Dusza added a victory in the 200 backstroke by finishing in 1:59.22.
 
Tanner Carver won the one-meter diving competition by scoring a total of 239.15 points. William Morris placed second in the event with a score of 228.35. Thomas Gaines and Carver tied for the three-meter title by both scoring 230.50 points. Morris finished in third place with a score of 213.65.
 
Dusza won the final individual event by finishing the 200-yard individual medley in 2:04.14 for the victory.
 
Wabash closed out the meet with a final victory in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Glore, Craig, Temores, and Wenz won the event with a combined time of 1:29.66. Hakimian, McCarty, Johns, and Lucas Daniken took second place with a time of 1:30.53.
 
Jacob Penrose finished in second place in the 1650 freestyle by completing the race in 18:17.50. Adam El-Khalili took third place with a time of 18:33.46. Penrose also scored a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:14.23. Hakimian captured third place by finishing in 2:16.37.
 
Wenz finished second in the 100 breaststroke after posting a time of 1:02.82. Sam Bleisch took third place overall by finishing in 1:09.05.
