Wabash remained in third place out of ten teams competing at the 2022 Gail Moll Pebworth Invitational after the second day of competition at the Crawfordsville High School Aquatics Center.

The Little Giants finished day two with 983 points, trailing Birmingham-Southern College in first place with 1,342 points and Centre College in second place with a score of 1,019.5. Franklin College is in fourth place with a score of 974.5. Quincy University rounds out the top-five team by scoring 833 points.
Wabash closed the morning session by placing second in the 800-yard freestyle relay.

Eddie DaMata, Craig, and McCarty swam to sixth place in the 200-medley relay to open Saturday evening's session. The foursome turned in a time of 1:35.43.

Johns swam to second place in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing the race in 1:42.64, one second behind AJ Schwabe from Birmingham-Southern and his meet-record time of 1:41.68. Straw took sixth place in the "A" final with a time of 1:46.49. McCarty added a tenth-place finish in the "A" final by completing the event in 1:50.12.
John Allen won the "B" final to finish 11
th overall with a time of 1:47.89.

Jacob Penrose scored a sixth-place finish in the "A" final of the 400 individual medley by turning in a time of 4:16.66.
Dane Market placed 12
th in the "B" final with a time of 4:31.63.
Morgan Govekar finished 13
th with a time of 4:33.54.

Justice Wenz turned in a time of 1:00.17 in the 100-yard backstroke to finish 10
th in the "A" final. DaMata placed 11
th in the "B" final with a time of 59.36. Smith added an eighth-place finish in the 100 backstroke by finishing in 53.13.
Marc Nicholson finished in 54.56 in the "B" final of the 100 backstroke to place 15
th overall.

Craig turned in the top effort for the Little Giant in the 100 butterfly by finishing in 54.09 in the "B" final to place 19

The three-day meet concludes Sunday with a preliminary round at 10 a.m. at the Crawfordsville High School facility before the 5:30 p.m. finals Sunday evening.
