Wabash College senior basketball players
Jack Davidson,
Tyler Watson, and
Kellen Schreiber were all named to the 2022 All-North Coast Athletic Conference Team. Davidson was named the NCAC Player of the Year in addition to receiving First Team All-NCAC honors. Watson earned First Team All-NCAC honors, as well. Schreiber picked up Second Team All-NCAC recognition. In addition, Wabash head coach
Kyle Brumett was named the NCAC Men's Basketball Coach of the Year.

Davidson earned the Player of the Year Award for the second time after receiving the award in 2019. Davidson also received the NCAC Newcomer of the Year Award as a freshman in 2018. He is only the second player in conference history to earn at least two Conference Player of the Year awards after being named the Newcomer of the Year. He earned a place on the All-NCAC First Team for the third time in his career (2020, 2019) after receiving Second Team All-NCAC honors as a freshman player.

Davidson leads the conference and ranks third in the nation in scoring with a 25.2 points-per-game average. The senior guard is the nation's top three-point field goal shooter, hitting 49.5 percent of his three-point tries. Davidson ranks second among Division III players in free throws made this season with 167 and is fifth in Division III in free throw percentage (91.8). He is second in the nation in total points scored this season with 680 through 27 games. Davidson recorded three double-doubles this season, all coming in conference games with two against Oberlin and one in the NCAC Tournament Championship Game against Wooster. He scored a total of 97 points in the NCAC Tournament to break the conference record for points for the tournament.

Davidson was also named to the Top-50 Watch List for the Bevo Francis Award presented to the nation's top small college men's basketball player. He also earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 First Team honors.

Watson received First Team honors for the first time in his career. The senior guard is averaging 15.9 points a game, the sixth-best in the conference. He averaged 5.3 assists a game to rank second in the conference and 39
th among Division III players. He broke the Wabash single-game assist record by handing out 14 in the Little Giants' victory over Hiram on February 6, picking up a double-double in the game by also scoring 18 points against the Terriers. Watson's assist-to-turnover ratio for the season is 2.92 to rank second in the NCAC and 12
th in the nation.

Schreiber earned Second Team honors for the first time in his career. The senior forward is fifth in the nation and leads the conference in field goal shooting percentage. He is shooting 69.7 percent from the field for the season. Schreiber is ninth in scoring with a 15.1 points-per-game scoring average. Schreiber picked up two double-doubles in back-to-back conference games against Allegheny and Hiram.

Brumett received NCAC Coach of the Year honors for the first time in his eight-year career at Wabash. He led the Little Giants to their first NCAC regular-season title and the school's first NCAC Tournament championship. His Wabash team earned a berth in the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament for the first time since 1998. The Little Giants will play Berry College at Emory University on Friday, March 4 at 7:10 p.m. Wabash is currently on a 20-game winning streak, the longest in school history. The Little Giants rank fifth in the nation in scoring with an average of 90.9 points per game and are 16th in scoring margin with a differential of plus-13.6 points. Wabash is second in the nation in field goal shooting percentage (52.1), and three-point field goal shooting percentage (40.9). Wabash also ranks third in free throw shooting percentage (81.2).Â

Brumett is 122-75 in his eight seasons at Wabash. He won his 100
th career victory as the head coach at Wabash with a 98-90 win over Emory at the Great Lakes Invitational at Marietta College on November 20. He is 258-154 in 16 seasons as a college head coach.
