The Wabash College golf team opened the spring portion of the 2021-22 season at the Hill City Invitational in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Little Giants trimmed 22 strokes off their opening round score to shoot a score of 650 for the tournament with an 11
th-place finish.
Wabash shot a 314 on Monday's final day of competition after carding a 336 on Sunday.
Brayden Weiss finished in a tie for 25
th-place overall with a two-day score of 155 (79-76).
Lewis Dellinger shot a 165 (90-75) to finish tied for 46
th.
Matthew Lesniak and
Tim Neu each tied for 50
th place overall with scores of 168. Lesniak scored an 83 on the first day followed by an 85 on Monday. Neu turned in a round of 84 each day.
Wabash will compete at the Great Lakes Collegiate Tournament hosted by Rose-Hulman March 26-27.
