Wabash College senior Caleb McCarty earned North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts in the Little Giants' dual-meet competition at Valparaiso University Friday evening.
 
McCarty posted two victories against NCAA Division I opponents Friday evening meet. The senior won the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 21.35 against a field of swimmers from Valparaiso and Eastern Illinois University. McCarty turned in a season-best time of 46.71 to win the 100-yard freestyle.
