Four top-20 finishes pushed the Wabash College cross country team to third place out of eight teams competing at Saturday's Franklin College Grizzly Invitational at the Blue River venue in Shelbyville, Indiana.

The Little Giants finished with 82 points, trailing the University of Indianapolis in first place with 59 points and Manchester University in second place with 73 points. Wilmington (90 points), DePauw (115 points), Franklin (128 points), Anderson (168 points), and Hanover (203 points) completed the team scoring.

Joe Barnett turned in the top effort for the Little Giants over the 5,000-meter course. Barnett placed 12
th out of 101 runners finishing the event. Barnett ran a time of 16:24.8. Will Neabauer captured 14
th place by finishing in 16:27.6.
Jacob Sitzman finished one place back in 15
th with a time of 16:28.6.
Drake Hayes added the final top-20 spot by placing 18
th at 16:30.8.

Haiden Diemer-McKinney scored a 28
th-place finish at 16:56.6.
Justin Santiago finished in 17:03.4 to capture 32
nd place.
Aidan Makled turned in a time of 17:11.0.

Wabash will race at the North Coast Athletic Conference Preview at Denison University on Saturday, September 9.
