Seven-foot, two-inch junior post player
Noah Hupmann earned North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week honors for his performance in the Wabash team's 69-62 home win over Oberlin on Saturday.
Â
Hupmann blocked five shots, grabbed seven rebounds, and secured one steal in the victory. Four of his five blocks came in the second half as Oberlin tried to stage a comeback effort. Hupmann recorded all seven rebounds, including six defensive boards, over the final 20 minutes. The junior scored four points, including a put-back slam dunk with under a minute left to help secure the victory. His five blocked shots tied for the most in a single game by a conference player this season.
