The Wabash College team sits in third place with 32 points at the end of day one at the 2024 North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Denison leads the team scoring with 37 points, followed closely by Wittenberg in second with 34 points. Wooster stands in fourth place with 23 points, while Kenyon and Oberlin are tied for fifth place with 20 points.

Sly Williams set the tone in the long jump with a leap of 6.90 meters (22 feet, 7.75 inches), setting a new school record and finishing third to earn All-NCAC honors.

Brayden Curnutt won the distance medley relay in a tight battle with Oberlin but prevailed with a time of 10:22.41. The Yeomen finished in second place 18/100ths of a second later with a time of 10:22.59.

Quinn Sholar launched a throw of 15.94 meters (52 feet, 3.75 inches) in the shot put to finish second and earn All-NCAC honors.

Joe Barnett crossed the tape in third place in the 5,000-meter meter run with a time of 15:16.75 to earn All-NCAC honors.
Jacob Sitzman scored a seventh-place finish with a 15:43.23 effort.

The Little Giants advanced seven athletes into Saturday's finals.
Conner Grimes ran 6.91 seconds in the 60-meter prelim to set a new school record in that event and qualify into the final.

Saturday's events start with the high jump and weight throw at 10 a.m. The running events kick off with the 4x200-meter relay at 2:15 p.m.
