The Wabash College track and field team scored 109 points to place second out of 11 teams at the 56
th Annual Centre College Invitational in Danville, Kentucky, on Saturday. The Little Giants captured 23 top-eight finishes from the meet.

The highlight of the meet came from Junior
Will Neubauer winning the 800-meter run in a meet record time of 1:53.15.
David Adesanya followed just behind in 1:56.01 for a fifth-place finish.

Quinn Sholar earned a runner-up finish in the shot put with a heave of 15.65 meters (51 feet, 4.25 inches). The sophomore also launched a huge career-best toss of 49.05 meters (160 feet, 11 inches) in the hammer throw to finish third.
Lane Brockman produced a seventh-place finish and a new personal best with a throw of 46.88 meters (153 feet, 10 inches).

Evan Furuness tossed a career-best 43.44 meters (142 feet, 6 inches) in the discus throw to claim a second-place finish.

The quartet of
Daiden Taulbee,
Julius Hearns,
Seth Acero, and
Tanner Brooks captured a second-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay, crossing the line in 43.24.
Howie Steele, Adesanya,
Nathan France, and Neubauer combined for a time of 3:24.05 to score second place in the 4x400-meter relay.

Steele earned a third-place finish in the 400-meter dash with an effort of 51.78. France ran a 52.02 right behind Steele to finish sixth.
Christopher Royal broke the tape seventh in 52.99. Junior
Ryan Papandria secured a fourth-place finish in the javelin throw with a launch of 45.96 meters (150 feet, 9 inches).

Takeshi Greiner set a new career best in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing with a 15.70 to secure third place. Freshman
Owen Smith earned a third-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a new personal record of 58.34.
Ryan Adams vaulted 3.70 meters (12 feet, 1.75 inches) in the pole vault for a career-best height to earn a fifth-place finish.

Brooks claimed an 11.12 clocking in the 100-meter dash to score sixth. The freshman took another sixth-place finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in 22.27.
Matthew Meyer fought for a time of 17:41.96 in the 5,000-meter run for a seventh-place finish.

Centre took home the team title with 186 points. Trailing Wabash was Lindsey Wilson in third (91 points), Lincoln Memorial in fourth (89 points), and Midway in fifth (84 points).

Wabash will host the Huntsman Family Invitational on April 6 at Little Giants Stadium.
