Wabash College rising senior Will Neubauer and rising junior Haiden Diemer-McKinney received NCAA Division III All-Great Lakes Region honors from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) late Friday afternoon. The twosome ranked among the top five in the men's 800-meter run in the final regional performance lists for the 2024 outdoor track and field season.
Neubauer and Diemer-McKinney finished in a tie for fourth place among Great Lakes competitors after both runners turned in times of 1:51:51 at the Augustana Midwest Final Qualifier last Wednesday.Â
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earn All-Region honors, in addition to the members of a top-3 ranked relay team. Only USTFCCCA-member programs are eligible for awards.
