DeBello Opens Collegiate Career With Record-Setting Performance at Wittenberg

Wabash College freshman Brock DeBello broke the school record in the 300-meter dash to highlight the opening race of the season for the Little Giant track and field team at the Wittenberg Tiger Indoor Open on Saturday.
 
DeBello won the 300 with a time of 35.16 to eclipse the time of 35.32 set by Joel Whittington in 2012.
 
Teammate Haiden Diemer-McKinney won the mile run with a time of 4:18.80, with teammate David Adesanya capturing fifth place by finishing in 4:27.97.
 
Sawyer Lewis ran a time of 1:59.71 to capture fifth place in the 800-meter run. Kaiden McGuire scored a tenth-place finish with his time of 2:02.22.
