The Wabash College track & field team achieved seven top-five finishes and two individual victories at the Indiana Midwest Classic hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University on Saturday.

The Little Giants put three milers in the top five in a deep 30-man field. Senior
Brayden Curnutt won with a new personal indoor best of 4:17.81. Sophomore
Angel Perez crossed the line in 4:28.74 to capture third place, and
Egan Williams added a fifth-place finish in a 4:38.63 effort, a new collegiate best for the freshman.

Will Neubauer secured the second individual win on the day in the 800-meter run, running 1:56.68 over the half-mile distance. Sophomore
David Adesanya finished right behind in 1:57.44 to take third place.

Kannon Chase made the most of his season debut, tying for fifth place in the high jump, clearing 1.83 meters (6 feet, 0 inches).

Quinn Sholar earned a second-place finish in the weight throw, posting a toss of 17.02 meters (55 feet, 10 inches).

Wabash will return on the track next Saturday, February 8th, to compete in the Anderson University Invitational.
