Wabash College Athletics Hall of Fame
While there were steady signs that Wabash would be a national power in cross country beginning as early as 1991, it was the 1994 team that broke through and captured the attention of coaches and runners around the country. The 1994 Little Giant Red Pack captured the Indiana Collegiate Athletic Conference, Great Lakes Colleges Association, and Little State championships. They ran to second place at the Great Lakes Regional and finished 4th at the 1994 NCAA Division III National Championships. Along the way, the harriers more than held their own with the Division I competition — taking second at the Purdue Invitational and third at the Notre Dame Invitational, and fourth at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championship.
